Welcome to DiBS! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DiBS mobile application and website (the "Service"). By using DiBS, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on DiBS. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Safety and User Interactions

DiBS is a platform to facilitate real-world connections. We do NOT perform criminal background checks or verify the identity of our users.

Your interactions with other users, whether online or in person, are at your own risk. DiBS is not responsible for the conduct of any user, and we expressly disclaim all liability for any harm, injury, or loss resulting from your interactions or meetings facilitated through the Service.

To ensure your safety, we recommend:

• Meeting in well-lit, public places.
• Informing a friend or family member of your plans.
• Keeping your personal and financial information private.
• Reporting any suspicious or abusive behavior to our support team.

4. Acceptable Conduct

You agree to use DiBS respectfully and lawfully. You will not use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others, nor will you post any content that is offensive, illegal, or violates the rights of third parties.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you post on DiBS. However, by posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content to operate and improve the Service.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DIBS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms.
